Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas in London and we have decided to share the love by bringing you reviews of shops serving our coffee.

Where better to kicks things off than new kids on the block, Dandy Cafe.

If you are in search of something a little different, Dandy Cafe has a sense of discovery. Sandwiched between several industrial units in Helmsley Place London Fields are a couple of shipping units, a corrugated roof and an inconspicuous door. You’ll forgive yourself for walking past it a couple of times but once the eye catching blue and white sign aluminates your gaze, you won’t be disappointed.

Coffee and food enthusiasts from down under Andrew Leitch and Dan Wilson have teamed up with Gus Unger-Hamilton, to create a space most Australians would drool over.

Occupying a delightfully wood crafted space, 6 or so tables hug one side of the shop whilst the other is the open plan kitchen area. You can watch Dan carefully cook up a storm whilst Andrew does his thing on the La Marzocco, you will leave Dandy wanting to come back.

Dandy Cafe also offers a substantial array of tasty natural wines which you can also purchase on site.

The shop is situated in an area close to Mr Unger-Hamiltons heart with him growing up just around the corner, you can feel and almost certainly see the care that has gone into this project. Don’t miss out on enjoying this gem.
